Tacos (Mexican)
Another place yet for Mexican cuisine, but the menu is really broad and covers quite a bit. Check it out yourself.
It’s at the corner of Guangzhou road and Ninghai Road. There’s another outlet at Zhujiang Road.

This is the most over priced rubbish in this city. Save your money goto maccas at least the crap there tastes the same as you’d expect
My gf took me to this 1/10 restraunt and well my friends simply its CRAP Behind the wall 10/10 salsa 7.5/10 the only reason I give it a one is it serves cognac… people who like this probably love the chinese pizza huts as well…
For 45 rmb you get 3 “huge” steak tacos from TACOS, that comes with
fried potatoes and potato puffs. It also includes some lettuce and a side
of white tartar sauce stuff and good salsa. It’s a perfect and awesome meal.
25 rmb for a taco? 90 rmb for a plate of nachos?

I’ll take the 3 tacos for 45 rmb from TACOS with those extra tasty french fries
AND potatoe tots that come on the side with that super fine white tartar sauce
AND a side of passable (good) salsa!
the best tacos i have ha in nanjing, come from jimmy’s pizza. i dont like the regular taco’s, but they have double decker taco’s that are amazing. about 25 rmb each though, but as authentic as it gets in the nanjinger.
I liked the Tacos
It isn’t as good as what I had in Cali, but the Tacos seemed Good (7/10).
However the spicy beef pizza was shit. Mostly because there no beef. ;( (2/10)
because Salsa borders on foul. Tacos is terrible but Salsa just sucks. Slightly above them both IMO - but still rank - is Behind the Wall. However, as I write this, I gotta tell you that I’m in San Jose in California (business trip) so my opinion is somewhat tainted and Nanjing seems so very far away, at least for another couple of weeks
if you’re looking for decent tacos… go to “salsa”. my friends and i have found “salsa” to be worth a visit (or two… or three). nothing beats mexican back home, but salsa sure takes care of the craving! they’ve even improved on their menu since i first went. give it a try and stay away from KFC!
Have had the tacos and a couple other dishes here and all are kind of a strange take on Mexican. Even the non-Mexican food is a bit off. Tomato Soup that tastes like watered down marinara, flavorless pasta with meat sauce, etc. The pizza was edible at least, even if not exactly pizza-like.
Anyone know if\where you can find a decent taco in Nanjing? So far KFC’s mexican chicken wrap is the closest, and that’s just sad.
