Once again, a place that you’d never find on your own. Here’s one: Guangdong food to your liking.

If you haven’t been here yet, check it out before it gets too crowded. The boss below is quite a character, but wait till you meet his most hardworking waitress (see below right).

Of course it helps if you know how to speak mandarin, but get her to serve you, and experience service standards seldom found in restaurants like these.

“the street” (see above) is called 鸡鹅巷 [ ji1e2xiang4] aka chicken goose alley. it’s parallel to zhujiang road and between hongwu road and taiping north road (which 1912 faces).

  2. We went there today but unfortunately the restaurand seems to be closed. The door is nailed up an dso are th ewindows. Sad.

  3. jaja, shes’s quite a character , very attractive and full of energy. recommended some 3cup chicken dish.
