  10. I know what you mean - Nanjing’s choice of scooter designs is fairly limited. Your best option is A) find a used Honda Jazz 50cc petrol scooter - probably about 3000RMB used in good condition - it’s got a quirky retro-style design including two-tone paintwork, funky round clock display and some nice bodywork although it’s very small and uncomfortable for anyone over 6 foot tall.

Option B is to try scooter dealers in Shanghai or Hangzhou and use a haulage company to transport your new bike into Nanjing - probably about 500RMB for the haulage cost. I know that Walmart in Suzhou sells a very nice Vespa-style E-scooter, and also there’s a custom bike builder in Suzhou (don’t know the contacts) that rebuilds scooters with full-on retro features including quadrophenia-style wing mirrors, swept-back handlebars, chrome wheel hubs etc. A Vespa-style E-scooter is about 2500RMB, you’re also looking at around 500+RMB for haulage back to Nanjing and if you want your bike customised, throw in another 1000RMB.

I can tell you haven’t been here long as everyone knows that prostitutes can be found in the following establishments:- Massage centres, ’special’ KTVs, mid-range Chinese-owned hotels and backstreet ‘barber shops’ with pink neon lights.

iam trying to get chinese driving license. ive got the german one for cars, small trucks and motorcycles. even if i only get car license it would be fine.
i finally found a translation office that would help me do the test, but now they say its not possible to do this with an F visum.
a friend from shanghai told me that its only possible with 6 month or longer F visum, so far i had only 3 month. i will get 6 month visa next week, in shanghai it would then be possible to get the license, should be possible in nanjing too right?
