Mountain Top
It’s an area that’s neatly brickwalled and clean. Looks like a tourist spot. You have a good view of the southern side of the mountain here, and will be able to see the Purple Cloud Lake as well as the Tomb of Zhu Yuanzhang. You can buy tickets here to enter the park (which houses the watershed of the mountain, and hence a great view of the northern side). You can also take the cable car down the western slope.
Otherwise, what you have are various options to descend the mountain:
1. Take a cable car down to the Taiping Gate area (where White Horse Park 白马公园 [bai2ma3gong1yuan2] is);
2. Hike down to the Taiping Gate area;
3. Hike toward the Linggu Temple area;
and many other possibilities…
