Olympic Stadium

The Olympic Stadium 奥体中心 [ao4ti3zhong1xin1] in Nanjing was used for the Olympic selection process held here late 2005. It’s located at the southern end of the north-south subway line.
To get there, just taken the subway to the last stop. From Xinjiekou that will cost 3rmb. When you arrive you’ll see a gargantuan building covered in bright red. Just find your way to the main gate that’s just a walk from the subway exit. Here’s the long walk in…
What you can do here is walk one round, and perhaps even pay 30rmb to see 5 exhibits. That’s what they told us. ; )

I think you can ice-skate here in the winter - and I also think there’s an olympic pool that may have certain hours open to the public….
