Has phone/internet line
Apr 5th, 2006 under Internet
If you are moving into a place that already has a phone line or internet line in place, then it’s much easier to set up shop. In such a situation the landlord has either:
1. temporarily stopped the phone and/or internet line; or
2. cut off subscription permanently.
Either way, because he was/is the owner of the line, he needs either to:
1. get the line back in place (if it was temporarily disabled); or
2. apply for a new line i.e. BRING HIS IDENTITY CARD and go down with you to the appropriate internet service provider, where he applies for what you want, and you pay him the cost of it. Ask what promotions 活动 [huo2dong4] they have. The internet service providers usually have them in contracts spanning 1/2, 1 or 2 years.
