I saw “Wusong fighting the Tiger,” the only bit I could sort of understand. The rest of it put me into meditative mode. These arts are very subtle, and if I remember correctly, older that Beijing Opera.
Part of Kun Opera involves the art of making masks.
Performances held every Friday and Saturday evening. Where? In this theaterette within the Chaotian Gong (朝天宫) compound.
