I used to go all the way to Jinsheng (้็็พ่ดง) along Jiangdong North Road (in the Hexi area) just to get stuff on the cheap.
There it is across the road! Two floor packed with everything you will ever need (qualifier: to survive). Indeed, all you need to do is make a list: kitchen ware, pens, notebooks, shoe racks, bed linen. You name it, they have it - well, almost.
